Welcome to Flyleaf Bakery Cafe, an enchanting little haven nestled inside the Batavia Public Library! This charming cafe combines the serenity of a library with the delightful flavors of an artisanal bakery, making it the perfect spot for both bibliophiles and food enthusiasts alike.

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by the warm aromas of freshly brewed coffee and sweet baked goods. Flyleaf Bakery Cafe specializes in an array of scrumptious tea lattes such as the Caramel Apple and the ever-popular Pumpkin Spice. Whether you’re cozying up with a book or simply enjoying a peaceful moment, these beverages are sure to enhance your experience. For a refreshing treat, don’t miss their delightful frozen blends – the Oreo option is a crowd favorite!

When it comes to lunch, you’ll find delectable choices that sustain both the mind and body. Their Soup and Slider combo is a steal at just $8.00, while the flavorful Wraps and Sliders offer variety and satisfaction. How about pairing that with a warm Soft Pretzel for just $3? Each dish at Flyleaf is thoughtfully crafted, showcasing an inviting selection that emphasizes freshness and quality.

The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, making it an ideal place to sit down for a leisurely lunch or to grab a quick caffeine boost on the go. As one customer, Ben Bridger, sums it up perfectly: “A great place for fresh food and coffee…their baked goods are absolutely incredible.” The cafe’s commitment to quality shines through in every item, from their decadent pastries to their hearty lunch offerings.

And let me tell you, the baked goods here are nothing short of magical. Local patrons rave about how each muffin, cookie, and bread melts in your mouth. According to Emily Barrett, “This is Batavia’s best bakery!!!” With a rotating selection of fresh options daily, you'll always find something to tantalize your taste buds.

If you’re gluten-free or vegan, you're in for a treat as well! As Kaye P notes, the gluten-free selection is impressive, and Obe Arellano was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors of the vegan muffin they tried. From classic favorites to unique seasonal delights, Flyleaf Bakery Cafe has something to satisfy every palate.

A great place for fresh food and coffee. Their baked goods are absolutely incredible, and their soups and wraps are top notch. Besides having such delicious food, they’re very friendly and a great local business. A great place to sit in and have lunch or a drink, but also easily accessible if you’re on the go and need a quick caffeine refill. Their sugar cookies are a national treasure.

If every library had a cafe this incredible, I’d never leave the library. Or the cafe. The gluten-free selection is probably one of the best I’ve encountered in a cafe that isn’t run by someone who is celiac. The available coffee/latte flavors had some classics like hazelnut or vanilla, but also some broader flavors as well. I am guilty for ordering the pumpkin spice latte, because I like it. They also have a variety of non-dairy milk options for people who can’t/don’t drink milk. The space has some fun art and the service was great. I would love to be able to make this my regular coffee stop if I were local.

The cafe is open once again!! Had a delicious coffee, snack, and homemade pastry to take home. Anne makes all the sweets herself. My latte was exceptional and I can't wait to dig into this apple strudel loaf

First time trying Flyleaf. Had the iced chai latte, iced non-fat latte, and a mango smoothie, brookie brownie. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!! Best iced latte I’ve ever had!

I was a little skeptical walking into a library for a coffee. But was pleasantly surprised of the selection of drinks and baked good. I specially like their gluten free options. The chai latte and espresso drink were really good! Tried a vegan muffin and a FG cookie. Both were good! They have some lunch options as well.
